All clubs need to have a club constitution. You can download the British Rowing model constitution here, please note there is a separate one for Clubs and Schools. We recommend keeping this in line with our model as applications for accreditation and funding will require certain clauses to be included and these are all contained in this document.  Please note also that a club will not be accepted for affiliation to British Rowing unless their Constitution contains:

• an equal opportunities clause
  
• confirmation that your club will implement British Rowing’s policies on safeguarding and protecting children
  
• confirmation that your club will adhere to the safety requirements of the RowSafe Guide (examples of which are included in the model constitution)
